Website Terms of Use

Last updated: 10 July 2026

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Privacy Core Services Ltd (C 95774), 124, 21st September Avenue, Naxxar NXR 1015, Malta. By using the website you accept these terms of use.

2. Information, not legal or professional advice

Website content, guides, checklists, templates, comparisons, service finders and assessment results are general information. They are not legal, tax, accounting, investment, cybersecurity certification or other regulated professional advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice based on your organisation’s facts and jurisdiction.

No professional-client relationship, DPO appointment, representative appointment, fiduciary relationship or duty of care arises merely because you visit the site, submit an enquiry, download a resource or use an assessment. A service relationship begins only under written engagement terms signed or otherwise formally accepted by the relevant parties.

3. Website availability and changes

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website. We aim to keep content current but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or that every legal or regulatory development is reflected immediately.

4. Permitted use

  • Use the website lawfully and for legitimate personal or organisational research and procurement.
  • Do not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with operation, bypass security, introduce malware, scrape at a harmful rate or use the website to infringe another person's rights.
  • Do not submit unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, confidential or security-sensitive material through ordinary forms.
  • Security research is governed by the Responsible Disclosure Policy. Activity outside that policy may be treated as unauthorised.

5. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website, branding, text, designs, software, graphics and original materials are owned by or licensed to Privacy Core Services Ltd. You may view and print reasonable extracts for internal reference, provided copyright and source notices remain intact.

6. Downloadable resources and templates

A downloadable template, checklist or playbook is licensed, not sold. Unless a resource states different licence terms, the recipient may adapt it for internal organisational use. The recipient may not resell, republish, distribute as a competing library, remove authorship or rights notices, or represent the resource as bespoke legal advice provided by Privacy Core Services.

Templates must be reviewed for the user’s facts, jurisdictions and current law. Privacy Core Services is not responsible for consequences of using an unreviewed or outdated template.

7. Assessments and calculators

Interactive assessments provide provisional guidance based on the answers supplied and the version of the logic in use. Results may be incomplete where information is missing or uncertain. They do not determine legal obligations or eligibility and should be reviewed by a qualified person where the outcome matters.

8. User submissions

You are responsible for information you submit. Do not send confidential client data, credentials, special-category data or material you are not authorised to disclose unless we have provided an approved secure channel. We may delete malicious, irrelevant or unlawful submissions.

9. Third-party links and services

Links to regulators, partners, providers or external resources are provided for convenience. We do not control external content, availability, security, privacy or terms. A link does not necessarily imply endorsement or partnership.

10. No warranty

To the extent permitted by law, the website and free materials are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that content is complete, current for every jurisdiction, suitable for a particular purpose, free from errors or compatible with every system.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, Privacy Core Services Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, business, opportunity, goodwill, data or anticipated savings arising from use of the website or free materials. Any liability arising from paid services is governed by the applicable engagement terms.

12. Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Notice explains how we process personal data. Our Cookie Policy explains storage and access technologies and choices.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and non-contractual disputes relating to the website are governed by the laws of Malta, and the courts of Malta have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.

14. Contact and updates

Questions about these terms may be sent to info@privacycoreservices.com or through the contact form. We may update the terms by publishing a revised version and effective date. Effective date: 10 July 2026.
